Inspired by the scale of the traditional Chinese city fabric, a fine-grained pedestrian experience maximizes the porosity between the project parcels that stands in contrast to the mega-block developments in adjacent developments. An elevated Level 2 pedestrian loop provides convenient linkages between the various programs and uses and accessibility to ground level and upper floors of the office and retail buildings. Intimate courtyards, light wells, strategically placed green walls, and roof gardens that are inserted between the pavilion-like buildings serve as nodes of social and cultural gathering.
